Dehydrator potato crisps

Yesterday, I bought a mandoline, whether this was brave or stupid is yet to be seen! The main reason for buying it was to start making dehydrator crisps, a mandoline slices things thinner and more regular than I could hope to with a knife.
It was so simple, and I loved the results.
1. Slice potatoes on a mandoline, boil in salted water until just cooked.
2. Drain the slices and cover in cold water (I found this meant the slices didn’t stick together and were much easier to put into the dehydrator)
3. Put the slices of potato into the dehydrator, turn it on and let it do it’s work! Mine took around 6 hours.

They are sort of like kettle chips, I just have to experiment with flavours now!
