Being new to this wine making thing, and having only made a red so far, I hadn’t really seen the pretty but rather disgusting phase of the wine settling! However, sat at my kitchen table this morning (whilst pop tarts cook in the oven and fresh coffee brews) I noticed this:
So, on top of the fact that my white wine has looked like a demijohn of pee for a week, it is now settling very slowly and personally although it is almost pretty, it’s also kind of horrible!
The fact there is this much gunge at the bottom of my wine and it hasn’t yet finished settling is a little bit yucky! Anyway, morning observation over, time to get the poptarts out to cool!
