I had never made yoghurt, apart from at school, until a couple of days ago, it was much easier, tastier and worthwhile than I actually expected!
570ml full fat milk
2tbsp probiotic yoghurt, at room temperature
1.Heat the milk to just under boiling. Stir continuously.
2.Remove from the heat, carry on stirring until it is cool enough to put your finger in for 10 seconds without burning!
3.Add yoghurt, stir, then cover and leave in a 55c oven or an airing cupboard for 3-6 hours. Do not move in this time. I had mine in a milk bottle, when set it looked like this
4.Once set, put into containers and put in the fridge, serve with anything you like!
We had ours with stewed blackberries
