Gone are the days of boring salt, butter or sweet popcorn in my household! Today we made maple and peanut butter popcorn and it was amazing!
55g popping corn
2tbsp vegetable oil
1tbsp maple syrup
45g crunchy peanut butter
1. Heat the oil. Add the popping corn and cover with the lid. Leave to pop, shaking occasionally, for about 3 minutes. Remove from the heat.
2. Mix syrup, peanut butter and butter in a pan, heat until bubbling. Pour over the popped corn and mix.
This was perfect whilst watching a film, just sweet enough to be a treat, but slightly salty from the peanut butter. Perfect!!
